Beta Software
Introduction
We provide beta versions of our software so that we can gather feedback from our users on the new features we are planning for the next release version.
We encourage you to download the beta and provide comments and feedback through our Beta Software Forum. We will answer all questions as soon as possible and announce new beta releases through the forum and in our monthly newsletter. You can sign up for the newsletter at the Download Contact page, or by sending email to info@cogent.ca.
What's new in Beta Version 6.3.24?
Please refer to the README.txt file, located in the program installation directory, for the most up to date list of new features and fixes that made it into the latest beta relase. Here is a list of some the new and updated features:
- Added Secure SSL tunnel/mirror connections between DataHubs.
- Added a binary mode message transfer to speed up TCP communication on x86 computers.
- Expanded localization to support foreign character sets.
- Added support for single dimensional arrays from OPC servers and clients.
- New installer archive works with all supported version of Windows (NT, 2000, XP, 2003, Vista).
- Improved support for ODBC databases.
- Multiple fixes and improvements to other features.
- Updated help documentation that includes reference material for all new features and a new comprehensive introduction for DataHub Scripting.
