Cogent Welcomes BitCtrl and Quantum

Georgetown, Ontario (March 30, 2005) Cogent Real-Time Systems, provider of real-time data connectivity software for industrial applications, recently signed distribution agreements with BitCtrl of Leipzig Germany, and Quantum Technology Transfer Corp. based in Wroclaw, Poland.

BitCtrl is a developer and integrator of systems for process control, as well as instrumentation and control, based on the QNX real-time operating system.

Quantum is an electronics manufacturer and supplier of high-end software and hardware for mission critical industrial and embedded systems.

Founded in 1995, Cogent Real-Time Systems is a leading developer of middleware solutions that connect sources and consumers of live data. Customers include the Bank of Canada, Cadbury Chocolate and the European Space Agency. Cogent leverages its experience in developing real-time systems to create data transport models for time-sensitive applications.
