OPC DataHub Gains Malaysian Distributor
Enthu Technology to Promote OPC-to-SMS/Email and other
Data Connectivity Solutions Using OPC DataHub
Georgetown, Ontario (August 2, 2007) Cogent Real-Time Systems welcomes Enthu
Technology as a distributor for Cogent's OPC DataHub. Enthu
provides power monitoring and energy saving systems for
Malaysian industrial applications, and plans to promote the
OPC DataHub to facilitate data connectivity.
"The OPC DataHub's OPC to SMS/Email solution has helped us
establish the interconnections we need between our applications
and other media and systems," said Joshua Soong, Technical Sales
Manager for Enthu. "We want to provide our customers the kind
of system connectivity that nobody else can offer. With the OPC
DataHub and other Cogent products, we can easily achieve
this."
"We are pleased that Enthu has recognized the value of the
OPC DataHub," said Andrew Thomas, President of Cogent, "and that
they are moving quickly to integrate it into their product line.
We look forward to a strong, dynamic relationship."
The OPC DataHub is a single tool for OPC-based process
data integration. An engineer can use it to aggregate OPC
servers, tunnel data across a network or the Internet, and
bridge between different OPC servers. Management can configure
the DataHub to access live OPC data from Excel, a web browser,
or cell phone, as well as store the data in any ODBC-compliant
database.
Enthu Technologies focuses on interconnection solutions.
They develop applications that synergize their customers'
operations and maintenance in a common framework. Their diverse
team members apply a variety of skill sets to set benchmarks,
focus plans, and integrate systems for optimal plant
performance.
