New OPC DataHub Distributor in Switzerland
Logicpark values OPC DataHub's integrated
architecture and ease of use.
Georgetown, Ontario (February 2, 2009) Cogent Real-Time Systems announces a new sales
partnership with Logicpark, a Swiss computer science and
engineering firm specializing in connecting industrial
applications with management and IT systems. Logicpark will
market the OPC DataHub in Switzerland, Germany, Austria, and
other parts of Europe.
"The OPC DataHub helps our customers gather control data
and bring it to one central location," said Bruno Maurer,
Solutions Leader for Logicpark. "Production management in the
future will need ever-faster access to data, and the OPC DataHub
can provide this."
"We are pleased to be able to work with Logicpark," said
Andrew Thomas, President of Cogent. "They are strong in
business and process data management, and see the value of the
OPC DataHub in today's data-dependent environment."
"In all our years of experience with OPC integration, we
find the OPC DataHub to be the best solution available," said
Mr. Maurer. "It combines many capabilities in a single program
and is much easier to configure than other popular products on
the European market."
The OPC DataHub gives quick, reliable, and secure access
to valuable information direct from the factory floor. It is an
integrated tool that can present live process data directly on
an engineer's or manager's desk in a form most suitable:
database, spreadsheet, or web page. It provides OPC tunnelling,
bridging, and aggregation, and has a free API to support
virtually any requirement for OPC connectivity.
Logicpark GmbH is a computer science engineering office
specializing in consulting, training, software development, and
project management, implementing extensive nationwide service
packages. Logicpark applies the OPC DataHub to network machines
and devices, to visualize and analyze process and machine data,
and to meet the requirements of central data management.
